SPHIRE 0.26% G is a systemic granular insecticide formulated with two active ingredients: Chlorantraniliprole 0.2% and Emamectin Benzoate 0.06%.
The product is designed for the management of Fall Armyworm (FAW) and borers in maize, as well as borers in sugarcane.
For maize, the supplied recommendation specifies an 8 KG bag per application. The first application is recommended at the 5–6 leaf stage, followed by a second application at the 8–10 leaf stage. The granules are applied directly into the plant whorl.
For sugarcane, the first application is recommended 45 days after sowing using 1 bag, followed by a second application 90 days after sowing using 2 bags. Application can be made through Kaira/direct broadcasting or by mixing with fertilizers, according to the supplied recommendation.
